How Far Along Should You Be?
7 months is the magic time for doing a maternity photo shoot. If you do it too early, your baby bump won’t be big enough to really look like you’re doing a maternity shoot. If you wait any longer you run the risk of an early delivery and you’ll miss your opportunity to do a photo shoot. 7 months is also a good time because you still have enough energy and you are still mobile enough to do the session. The last month can be rough and it’s unpredictable.
How Early Should You Book The Photo Shoot?
You should book your session as soon as possible. If you know your due date, call your favorite photographer and get your session on the calendar. The sooner the better. The last thing you want is to wait until the last minute and find out your favorite photographer is already booked up. You won’t want to settle for someone else.
