Tipping is not typically expected. Boudoir photographers are business owners who set their own prices, so your session fee and any artwork you order are what pay for the experience. Opinions vary on this, though, and a tip is never required.
What if I want to show my appreciation?
A tip is always welcome but never necessary. A heartfelt review, a referral to a friend, or a thank-you note often means just as much and helps a small studio grow.
Should I tip my hair and makeup stylist?
If you’d like to tip someone, your stylist is a common choice, since she’s with you throughout the session and helps with touch-ups, straps, and wardrobe changes. It’s entirely optional.
How much should I tip, if I decide to?
There’s no set amount. Tip whatever feels right for your budget and your experience.
